Women's Super League Football Results And Table For Week 17

 Women’s Super League Match Day 17 games continued on Sunday with Chelsea and Man United playing against their Rivals in pursuit of title defense and Champions League spot respectively.

Man City’s Kerolin put visiting Chelsea under pressure after her cool strike in the 32nd minute of the game to seal the first half. Chelsea  responded just 4 minutes into the second half through a strike by Beever-Jones. The game further became balanced as they engaged tactically with result driven plans. Luckily for Chelsea, Erin Cuthbert got an important 3 points for the Blues in stoppage time as Chelsea came from behind to seal  victory on the night.

At the Villa Park, Man United Women were king away from home. Terland opened scoring for United in the 22nd minute to put them in the lead. Terland doubled visitors lead to make it 2-0 lead as United took charge. Clinton sealed the half for Man United few minutes to the end of the half, punishing the lackluster performance of the Home side. Galton scored her 5th League goal in the 65th minute to give Man United a  4 goal lead as United Beat Aston Villa at their park.

Chelsea extend their victory on the log to 47 point, now leading Arsenal by 8 points. Man United as well maintained their 3rd spot which is meant for UEFA champions league next season. Man United maintain the same points as Arsenal and can still finish on the second spot in the League this season with only 5 matches to go.
