Week 29: Italian Serie A Top Scorers Table

 Italian Serie A games are just 9 remaining for every side in the League. The top Scorers Table this season has been unbelievable based on the caliber of Scorers that have been seen against all odds.

Atalanta's Mateo Retegui is currently the leading top Scorer in the Italian Serie A so far. The Argentina born Italian Striker has 22 goals and 4 assists in 27 League games, leading second placed Fiorentina's Kean by 7 whopping goals. Retegui against all odds has been vibrant in goal scoring more than Napoli's Lukaku, Inter's Martinez and other big names expected to occupy the top spot. The Striker is also better than the current African Footballer of the year by 9 goals as he looks forward to winning his first Golden Boot Award in the Italian Serie A this season.

African Footballer of the year award Winner, Nigeria's Ademola Lookman will need 9 goals to be on same level as leading Scorer Retegui who is also his Teammate. The Nigerian Striker fired blank in Atalanta's last game which they also lost to remain 3rd on the Log. Lookman is currently 3rd on the Scorer's chart with 13 goals and 5 assists. He's also ahead of International Milan's Martinez and Thuram who are trailing him by 1 assist and 2 goals respectively. He's still a major contender who is currently not even in Lukaku's class.

As it stands with 9 games to go for each of the Teams, how easy could it be for others like Lookman to fight Retegui for the Golden Boot Award this season?

  The FIFA World Cup Qualifying rounds continue on with Match Day 6 actions with Group I Teams, as countries involved know their fate as the Series progresses. After beating Comoros by 3 nil on Match Day 5, Mali were held by Central African Republic to a goalless draw. All effort made by the Malians to get a goal were frustrated by the Central Africa Republica Team. Although Mali created some  chances but Central Africa Republicans were  defensive in their approach to the game. The game ended with  both Teams dropped points. Thomas Partey opened scoring in the 11th minute to put the visiting Black Stars of Ghana in charge at halftime. Few minutes into the second half, Partey doubled Ghana's lead to make it 0-2 as Hosts Madagascar struggled in the game. CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifier Results And Table After Argentina Beat Brazil

  World Cup Qualifying matches in the COMEBOL Union  for Day 14  have been played.  The results are not shocking, except for the Brazilian game that many expected to be a draw. Argentina maintained their lead on the COMEBOL Table for World Cup Qualification spot, even when they are the defending Champions. Julian Alvarez scored for Argentina in the 4th minute to put the Champions in the Lead. Fernandez doubled Argentina's lead in the 12th minute, to rub salt on Brazil's injury at half time. Matheus Cunha pulled a goal back for Brazil after taking advantage of Argentina's mistake to make it 2-1 but Mac Allister sealed the first half with the 3rd goal for Argentina as the Break ended 3-1. Simeone's 4th goal for Argentina humiliated Brazil as they were grossly violated by the Argentina's Team that was without Messi.
